The Italian Wine Academy offers you the unique opportunity to access winery owners and wine makers in a country where most wineries are closed to the public. Learn first hand the wine and food culture and gain insights into the heart and soul of Italy.

Programs are hand-crafted by father and son wine professionals Robert and David Black, and are designed to appeal to neophytes and wine aficionados alike. Accommodations and each winery visit are personally selected based on first hand knowledge.



The Academy attracts people who typically would not join a 'group' tour. Perhaps our best testimonial our programs have is our repeat clientele. Many register a second time, some enjoying 5 or more programs

Visits are conducted in English with minimal translation. Programs include accommodation, private winery visits and tastings, free time to relax or explore, and meals at some wineries and regional restaurants.
